About Us
For over 50 years, First Baptist Church has
provided quality Christian school education through the ministry of First
Baptist School to impact the lives of children and their families for Christ.
With an enrollment of over 300 students from Kinder 3 through the twelve
grade, First Baptist School ministers to families from a variety of church
affiliations. FBS offers an excellent value in Christian education and financial
aid based on need is available.
Students are exposed to a Bible-centered
curriculum taught by dedicated Christian teachers who desire to challenge them
to make Christ the Lord of their lives and develop their minds and God-given
abilities for His glory.
Students are taught to make choices to
real-life situations based on Biblical principles. Students are involved in a traditional
challenging yet well-rounded academic curriculum which prepares them to compete
successfully in any college or university program they choose to enter upon graduation.
Students score well above the national
average on the Stanford Achievement Test which is administered annually in the
spring.
Students have the opportunity to
participate in various academic, sports and club-related student activities to
develop areas of interest and ability.
FBS is accredited by the Association
of Christian Schools International (ACSI), which is a recognized accrediting
agency by the Texas Education Agency.
